Indian
cuisine is intriguing and diverse as its culture. While Hindus believe
that cows are sacred and cook elaborate vegetarian dishes, Muslims
do not eat pork and are strongly influenced by Persian and Arabic
culture. Remnants of British and Portuguese cuisine are also evident
in certain parts of India such as Goa - known for its subtly spicy
meat and fish curries.
