The code stamped on the package is an expiration date. For example, a
package or can that displays FEB 2001 or FEB 01 indicates the product
retains its best quality if consumed by February 2001.

The shelf life of unopened Braithwaite canned products varies from 1 to
2 years. For the greatest taste satisfaction, we suggest consuming the
product by the expiration date stamped at the top of every Braithwaite
product.
Can I eat Braithwaite soup right out of the can?
It is perfectly safe to eat Braithwaite soups right out of the can. Our
chefs have already prepared and cooked the soups for you. However, the
full flavours of our soups usually will peak when heated. We suggest that
you mix condensed soups with the recommended water or milk additions before
