in their well-known cuisine. Confucius, a Chinese philosopher, said
"Eating is the utmost important thing in life"
Chinese
foods largely consists of plants and animals, including - soybean,
broad bean, venison, chicken, duck, goose, pheasant, many fishes,
red pepper, ginger, garlic, spring onion, cinnamon.
The food has to have a balance of (fan) grains, such as flour, and
(ts'ai) vegetable and meat dishes.

Spicy
Hot & Sour Soup
|
This
soup has lots of different and rich flavours, and is a very special
soup to serve your guests. The spicy taste comes from the pepper,
with a hint of sourness from the vinager.
How
to prepare
Empty the contents into 1 litre (4 cups) of cold water.
Bring to the boil stirring occasionally
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Cooking Tip! To
bulk it up, add sliced carrots or mushrooms. Garnish with fresh
scallions. |
